About Emma

My name is Emma, graduating in Summer 2024 from Manchester School of Art, Ba(Hons) Textiles in Practice, this site is a place for others to learn more about my practice and learn about me as a designer.

I created 'Unconventional Textiles' in the last year of my undergraduate course. This site has proven to be a great way to share my practice and create a platform for people to learn what I stand for as a designer as well as connect others with the same passions and interests.

My aim for this space is to be ever-changing, just like the textiles industry around us, and to build up an online space of resources and information that other creatives can add to and edit, to ultimately create an open platform for all to use and learn from.
